To purchase Alley Tracks Reflective Tape visit www.hhhincorporated.com.

In February 2010, H.H.H. Incorporated launched Alley Tracks Reflective Tape and the response from Haulers and Container Manufacturers has been overwhelming.

Prior to February 2010, waste industry companies were limited to either brittle reflective tape that would have to be cut by hand or expensive prepackaged strips of reflective tape.

Today, Alley Tracks solves both of those issues.

At only $65 per pre-cut roll (about $0.58 per container) you can now get flexible, economy grade reflective tape to mark the corners of your containers.

As with any new, value priced product, we have heard doubts. Will it Stick? Does it reflect?

Up close, the material has a gray color to it – much like the reflective material on safety vests. However, when viewed at a distance it reflects light extremely well and is highly visible.

In terms of sticking, have you ever tried to bend a 2″ x 4″ strip of reflective around the corner of a container? Well, now imagine that you have a material that can make 90 degree turns and conform to the bumps and imperfections in the surface of a container. That flexible material is Alley Tracks.

Alley Tracks comes in 2″ x 150′ rolls at $45 per roll or it comes in 2″ x 2″ pre cut pieces or 2″ x 4″ pre cut pieces.

To purchase any of the decals discussed in this post, please visit www.hhhincorporated.com.

H.H.H. Incorporated stocks waste decals (aka waste stickers) that are required to meet the ANSI Z245.x standards that have been set by ANSI and WASTEC for the Waste Industry.

To meet the ANSI Standards for Containers, all containers must have a 5″ x 14″ Caution-Warning Decal (#032) on the left side and on the right side of each container as well as a 5″ x 7″ Caution Decal (#42R) on the front of the container.

In addition, depending on local regulations, at a minimum containers should have 2″ x 2″ reflective tape at each corner of the container.

H.H.H. Incorporated also sells this reflective tape for containers and is the exclusive distributor of Alley Tracks Reflective Tape which will be discussed in a later post.

What is the benefit to having your containers meet ANSI Standards?

The benefit to containers meeting ANSI standards is that in a court of law it shifts the burden of proof from your company having to prove that it was not negligent to having the injured person prove that your company was negligent.

While it is a small distinction, the shift in the burden of proof can potentially save your company millions of dollars should a person hurt themselves on or around one of your company’s containers.
